The Friendly Hostel Scarness offers great value for money. The rooms are clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. I particularly appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee, as well as the option of having a TV in the room. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the beach on Torquay Terrace.
All was okay.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help us out. The location of the hotel was ideal as it was close to the beach and shops. The hotel facilities were clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed watching TV in the living room, which was very homely. We also appreciated the free bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the area at no additional cost.
Nothing could have been better. Our stay at this hotel was perfect from start to finish.

the staff was very helpful and friendly, always willing to give the best advice on city tours. the location was perfect, as it was right in the city center, so everything was just a short walk away.
The noise level was quite high, especially at night. It was hard to get a good night's sleep because of it.

I recently stayed in a small hostel located in Hervey bay for almost three weeks due to floods. the location of the hostel was perfect as it was close to the beach and back to the bus stop. I always felt safe walking around the area. the room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. the bathroom facilities were shared but always clean. they provided a free transfer to the bus station.
The kitchen area was a bit small, making it crowded when several guests were cooking together.

I recently stayed at a hotel near Torquay Terrace and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was excellent; I couldn't believe how affordable it was! Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. And finally, the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with two very comfy single beds, a TV, and even complimentary tea and coffee. it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was amazing and I couldn't fault a single thing.

Stayed at a hostel that felt so much like home. Loved the choices of room styles and there were no bunks at all. The bathrooms and kitchens were spotless, and the lounge was equipped with a TV/DVD player and DVD’s for hire. The location was ideal and the owners were really helpful with advice about the tours. Plus, the drop off and pick up from the bus station made our trip all the more convenient.
The toilets and shower had limited space and we had to wait in line for our turn. The hostel's location was a bit far from the ferry terminal to Fraser Island, and we had to spend more time than expected on the bus.
